Weekly Highlights Round 24

Top Pins produce the result of the week by beating leaders New Vintage 6-2. Rejects jump back up to second place with a 6-2 win against The Better Half and Alleycats remain third after winning a high scoring match against Ebowla 6-2. In the other game Oddballs maintain their recent revival by taking maximum points against Blind 600.

There were quite a few players bowling well this week.

First is Dave Warren from Ebowla, who, with games of 176, 180 and 204, posted a season-best series of 560 — 92 pins above his season average series. Great bowling, Dave.

Jane Hale continues her recent upturn in form, this week also scoring a season-best 537 series, which included a season-best game of 198. Well played, Jane.

Colin Chapman put in an excellent series of 595, which again included his season-high game of 245, and Darren Draper continues his good form this season, this week posting a 572 series.

Honourable mentions this week go to Darren Ford (515) and Ian Cottis (496).
